Dr. Flores completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Irvine graduating cum laude with a B.S. in Neurobiology and a minor in Psychology. He then went on to earn his D.D.S degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. He also spent the next three years at UCLA to complete specialty training in Periodontics (treatment of gum disease) and with extensive training in implant dentistry.
Dr. Flores limits his practice in the treatment of gum disease and implantology. He is a member of various dental associations including the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, California Society of Periodontist, California Dental Association, and American Dental Association.
Dr. Flores also has background in research having formerly been a fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health. He currently is a committee member for the Academy of Osseointegration-Young Clinicians Committee, he is a part-time instructor at UCLA, and he is a board-eligible periodontist in the final steps for board certification.
He enjoys spending his spare time with family and friends. He likes to hike, run, play tennis, and try new foods.
